… or is it??? Well, Jivan would say that no, 6 is a very important number for him as he reached it this past Friday. Yes, my boy is 6 and I can hardly believe it and to be honest I am rejoicing at the fact that he is growing up and understanding more. I am not very good at the patience thing although I try to practice it daily (Haig would disagree with this but hey one can try, right?).
The birthday celebrations were on Saturday. The morning saw a party at the Armenian school and then we met all of Jivan’s friends for a hike in North Vancouver in the afternoon (if you are asking, the hike was Jivan’s idea). The weather cooperated and it turned out to be a fantastic afternoon with good friends.
We crossed the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge, very fun.
And I had the opportunity to take some pictures, which to be perfectly honest, has been scarce in my world as of late. I have found everything to be extremely busy since our return from Europe (which I will write some more about in a later post but needless to say we had a great time!).
So that’s it folks. We are back in rainy Vancouver, mustn’t complain as the weather was great upon our return. I am just thankful for friends who feel like they can call in anytime, who keep me sane, who fix my cakes (second cake of the day needed fixing) and who freak me out with their doom and gloom stories/facts (I will elaborate on this sentence again in a later post). You know who you are and I love you. Also, always so thankful for my family.
See you soon. x
