There is nothing consistent about the weather in Vancouver. We had a great late spring/early summer’s day yesterday and pouf, it’s vanished into thin air and rain and a somewhat colder clime have settled in for the upcoming few days.
Needless to say then that we made the best of yesterday. Jivan had his friends sleep over on Thursday evening and we ventured out Friday to a few parks and they got very wet playing with the water fountain. and I let them, rather enjoying watching their laughter and freedom.
Earlier this week I got to spend a couple of hours with my boy, we sat on our front steps eating a snack before picking up his sister from her daycare. It was a rare moment in our busy lives and just wonderful.
